A POWERFUL SKIT!

This skit was introduced to us as a member of the DRAMA team in my local christian church, we are assigned to portray this skit to our harvest event. This skit was entitled "EVERYTHING", popularized by Lifehouse church in United States. Seing this skit was quite powerful, it made me realize of the things that i do in my life, the bad things to be specific that i somehow commit before. This skit talks about a young lady with Jesus in the creation, enjoying her life with God and everything was provided to her. but in a sudden, she was captived by a worldy love, she commits and neglects God presence with her, at first she was in love with that guy but as a common thing on earth, the guy left her alone and broken. With her brokeness, a sexy lady caught her eye, she was fabulous in all aspects then the main character was so insecured with her that she tent to imitate the model but as a result, she was nothing to prove any. For the second time, we was broken, then a drunkard has passed by and offer her a drink, with her curiosity, she indulge to it and found herself being drunk.

Without knowing that God is still waiting and was so sad of all that happened. Next, was the millionare, the millionare are tryting to deceive her in terms of money. She found herself craving to money that was not good. Then a rockista girl came in, she plays wild, hardcore, metalica music that made the main character curious to it and want to play with it to see how it feels. but as she turned confused and relieve it for she dont feel the real happiness that she felt before. Then on its lowest point of brokeness that she don't know what to do, the devil has its time to deceive her.

The devil handed her a knife and a gun. with her confusions, she really dont know what to do. she try to put her gun on her head and with a sudden conviction and courage. She run unto God to its full potential but the people whom made her away from her still blocked the way to God. even she strives hard to come back, evil forces are there to blacked. Until she was weak, God then decided to make a move, He made a way to the crowd and then put Himself in the crowd protecting her. With God's grace, all the forces are dominated by God's Glory. Then He approaches her and comforts her for all the things that she encountered. Then the joy the she was aiming has been only FOUND IN GOD.
